If there is one thing that I have learnt about Sandra and Paul Bramley over the years, it is that they never do things by halves.

Whether they are establishing a widely respected interior design consultancy, constructing some of the most stylish and unique individual properties in Marbella, (no less than Marbella’s mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, said the couple had “single-handedly changed the face of Marbella around 20 years ago”) or the small matter of rewriting the rulebook when it comes to creating the most talked about new Rosé wine in Europe, Sandra and Paul have always strived for, and obtained, the highest standards.
And then pushed that bar a little higher.
When Paul invited me for a sneak preview of Blue Stripe Storage, their latest project in the Poligono San Pedro, I have to admit that I thought they had finally decided on a conservative business. “Storage is storage”, I said to myself on the drive over “It’s all about bland warehouses, uniform units and perhaps a coffee machine lurking in the corner”.
I should, of course, remembered whose project this is….
The sheer size of the project stunned me at first. Blue Stripe Storage takes up the entire frontage of the block, ideally located just off the Ronda road in the San Pedro industrial centre. It is even more impressive when you step inside. The two floors and huge basement have capacity for whatever a customer needs – from simple storage space to fully serviced offices.
Starting with the storage, Blue Stripe has over 60 units ranging in size from 2- 64 sq.m. The stylishly designed reception area is staffed from 8am -8pm Monday to Friday and from 9am – 2pm on Saturday, which ensures both excellent customer service and maximum security. (Many other facilities allow 24 hour access, but lack of staff at all times leave them open to the possibility of theft). Blue Stripe Storage also offers mailboxes and a mail service for packages.

Blue Stripe Storage is able to offer help with both loading and unloading, and packing materials, as well as a van for item collection. With a variety of contract options available, the facility is ideal for companies such as interior designers or furniture firms who may not have sufficient space in their own premises, people who are downsizing or relocating, distribution firms or new businesses who need to store items while their offices or shops are being prepared.
The underground garage area is also a secure location for valuable and classic cars, and a full valet service is planned.
The first floor at Blue Stripe Storage contains nine fully serviced offices. There is a reception office with multilingual staff able to provide reception and administration services as well as a 50 sq.m conference room.
The building also has a well-lit common area, ideal for networking or hot desking, as well as a modern kitchen and Barista coffee machine.
