National Police agents have made two arrests in the grisly murder of a woman found mutilated on a Marbella beach

One of them is the victim’s ex-boyfriend, who has confessed to the crime while the second drove the victim and the suspect to the location of the murder

For his part, the detainee, a friend of the principal under investigation, supposedly drove him and the victim, still alive, in a van to the location where the murder took place – the van was later seized in Madrid.

The family of the victim, a 46-year-old Colombian national, stated that she had received threats days ago by her ex- partner, who had violated the precautionary measures issued by the judicial authorities after his arrest in mid-December for ill-treatment

The victim and the accused were in relationship of about five months and at the end of November the woman decided to end it. At that point the date on which the problems began. Subsequently, she filed a complaint at the police station for an episode of ill-treatment.

The investigations of the agents have allowed the arrest yesterday of a friend of the main suspect, arrested for his alleged participation in the events. On the day of the crime, he supposedly took the victim, still alive, and her ex-partner in a van to an enclave on the beach where the crime took place.
