The wildfire that broke out earlier this afternoon has been brought under control.

Firefighting teams from INFOCA, including helicopters and a light aircraft, worked together to stabilise the wildfire. Concerns were raised that the fire might spread quickly due to the high winds and dry conditions.

Thankfully the winds dropped, and although the fire is still active, the emergency services seem to have the upper hand.
