The senseless violence that has stained the summer in Marbella continues

In the latest incident, a 24-year-old man was stabbed twice in the legs as he left a barbers, believed to be Harrison’s, in Puerto Banus on Wednesday at 6pm.

Sources say the attacker calmly got into a getaway car and drove off. The victim was rushed to the Hospital Costa del Sol.

The motive for the attack is unknown, but comes a week after Craig Moran was brutally tortured and left for dead in a ditch, apparently over a drug deal.

Meanwhile police are still hunting the Spanish gang that robbed Bankinter in Marbella of 200,000 euros last week.

The victim of Wednesday’s attack has yet to be named, and the injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

Marbella needs to do something, and quickly, to repair its already tainted image. Robberies, torture, arson and stabbing need to be dealt with rather than focussing on topless tourists and a few loud beach clubs. Otherwise we art back to the Costa del Crime II
