The International Property Awards has voted Vista Lago Residences the “World’s Best Residential Development” at a packed event at the Savoy Hotel in London.
“Competing against more than 500 projects worldwide and winning the first prize is a victory for both Marbella and Vista Lago,”
says Michael Rodziewicz, CEO of BRIGHT, the developer responsible for the Vista Lago development.

This sustainable luxury project also won the “Best in Europe” award for its architecture, the result of a successful collaboration between BRIGHT and the architecture and interior design firm UDesign. This partnership has tasted success at the awards before, winning “Best in Spain” and “Best in Europe” in 2019 with Villa Alcuzcuz, the first luxury ‘Passive House’ in Marbella.

The whole team – including the collaborating architects González & Jacobson who dealt with technical and sustainable issues – worked tirelessly and creatively to contribute to this success. Jason Harris, CEO of UDesign said: “This is a great victory for the architecture and design sector on the Costa del Sol because such an award reflects an unusual level of excellence and brings this southwest corner of the continent closer to the forefront of the world-class architecture and design”.
