Brit crashes rented Marbella supercar in high speed Seville chase

It’s a miracle no one was killed.

A young Englishman was arrested in Seville this weekend after a ten kilometre high speed chase through the city at over 180 kmh and then crashing at high speed. The 600 bhp Audi RS6, which has a top speed of 300 kmh, tore through central Seville and was spotted by officers at 5pm on Sunday.

Local Police attempted to stop the car that then drove along the pavement and into the Jardines del Cristina park, where it continued at high speed ,narrowly avoiding several pedestrains.

Rejoining the road, the rented Audi avoided a second attempt to stop it by driving through a gap in parked cars, and then crossed the central reservation and headed INTO oncoming traffic along the Av. Juventudes Musicales,

The Audi crossed bacj and tried to head out of the city, but lost control trying to ‘undertake’ a line of vehicles and crashed into the barriers, knocking over a set of traffic lights.

The chasing police weere then able to arrest the driver, a 21-year-old Englishman, as well as his companion, a 19-year-old Irishman, who was later released. driver

The driver was transferred to the police stations where he was remanded in custody

The Audi heads into oncoming traffic at high speed



The Audi was rented in Marbella. The Audi RS6 accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds, and from 0 to 200 km/h in 12 seconds and has a price of €148,000.

The passenger stated that he knew the driver through video games when playing online with him, and that they had been staying in Marbella for the weekend.
