Cold Snap forecast for Spain

Dig out your thermals. Spanish meteorological agency AEMET has issued a weather warning across most of Spain for cold weather.

The cold front sweeping Europe has entered Spain through the northeast, bringing lower temperatures, rain, wind and snow to the peninsula.  Snowfall is forecast for Thursday in Valencia and in the North African Spanish city of Ceuta, which has not seen snow since 1993.

AEMET forecasts a maximun of 11 and minimum of 7 for Marbella on Wednesday, with rain expected.

Wrap up warm and get the fire going, as we all know that Spanish houses aren’t built for cold weather!
