A little good news for Friday. The latest figures released by the Junta de Andalucia reveal that the rate of Covid-19 infections in Marbella has fallen for the first time in 15 days.
This also means that Marbella remains below the red line that marks 1,000 cases per 100,000 inhabitants, (974 cases), which could trigger further restrictions from the Junta. The daily rate of new positives has also decreased by almost half.
The Junta recorded 69 new cases on Friday, half that of the previous day and the lowest daily figure since June 30.
This means that the accumulated incidence growth has slowed down for the first time in two weeks.
