Five people have been detained by National Police in connection with the shooting at the Club Casa Masa on Sunday morning.

The shootings took place at 9 am in the brothel, after an argument broke out between two groups of customers.

Four people receieved gunshot wounds, with one of the wounded shot three times in the torso.

Two have been discharged from the Costa del Sol Hospital while the others continue to recover.

National Police are continuing with the investigation to clarify what happened. On Monday, a burnt out car was found near Estepona in the Velerín area that agents believe the gunman may have fled in.

According to sources close to Casa Masa , the fight took place inside the premises with gunman going out to the car to get his gun and returning to open fire in the bar area (pictured above)

Police have found 22 and 9 mm casings and believe that the incident was a settling of accounts between two rival gangs in Casa Masa that morning.
