A second person has died after the torrential rains on the Costa del Sol.
The second victim is understood to be an employee of Endesa, who was swept away in his car by floods at Línea de la Concepción.
The man, who was reported to be in his 40s, was fixing a transformer in an industrial area of Campo de Gibraltar. It’s reported that the man took shelter in his car, when it was swept away by rising floodwater.
La Linea has announced two days of mourning for the victim.
An investigation has also been launched to determine how for the first victim, understood to be a hostess at a the Club California nightclub, was trapped inside the establishment as the waters rose.
83 people have also had to be rescued from their homes since Saturday evening
