Not a lot surprises us here at Planet Marbella, where we are used to seeing all sorts of photos and pictures landing on the newsdesk.
But the photo from the crowning of the queens and ladies for the forthcoming San Pedro Alcantara feria really made us double take.
Normally the photos from these kind of ceremony are rather boring affairs, with the participants in traditional outfits, all flamenco dresses and frills.
But the kids’ section this year has gone all Gothic, with the winners all decked out as if they were on their way to a bash at the Addams family.
We think that it’s a stroke of genius. The San Pedro Feria, which this year takes place between October 14 – 19, is the last one of the season, and the weather can traditionally be a little gloomy.
Maybe the Town Hall could get “Edwards Scissorhands” director Tim Burton to open the event!
