Brit Comedy Caper Golden Years won Best Feature at the Marbella International Film Festival (MIFF) awards last night.
Brian Foligno of Molifilms Entertainment and Brad Moore, who starred in the film, collected the award at the Gala Dinner held at the H10 Andalucia Plaza Hotel
In Golden Years fate, the pensions crisis and a steadfast refusal to accept the injustice of old age have contrived to force law abiding, retired couple, Arthur and Martha Goode into a life of crime. Refusing to take the loss of their pensions lying down and to fade away into their declining years, our characters decide to fight back. They decide to take back what was theirs in the first place. They decide to start robbing banks. The comedy crime caper features a stellar cast including Simon Callow, Bernard Hill, Phil Davis and Virginia McKenna.
Other winners on the night included Best Director for Julia Vargas for Sealed Cargo, Best Actor for Craig Fairbrass in London Heist and Best Actress for Hattie Gotobed for Daisy.
