The View Marbella, the latest development from Wilma Sierra Blanca, has been chosen as the best national and international residential project 2020-2021 at the prestigious International Property Awards.
Wilma Sierra Blanca, the Spanish development group specialising in luxury projects, is the company behind this ambitious project. With an investment €130 million and situated on a 50,000 m2 plot, the developers had the option to construct more than 150 apartments.
In the end, however, the decision was taken to build 110 homes of increased size, divided in two phases. The first is made up of 49 luxury apartments, of which 73% have already been sold. This is significant figure, considering that work on this phase began in the middle of the pandemic. In fact, most of those sales were closed from January 2020 onwards.
“Despite the mobility restrictions, sales of The View Marbella soared with the arrival of the pandemic, especially among Central European and Scandinavian clients,” said Pedro Antonio Rodríguez, partner and managing director of Wilma Sierra Blanca.
The View Marbella is one of the most unique projects currently under construction on the Costa del Sol. One of the blocks will be totally circular with 300º panoramic views. The design is certainly a departure from the ordinary and presents an original concept, with a flowing architecture of curved forms that enhances its views of the sea. The project has been conceived with special attention to detail, both architecturally and in terms of interior design, communal areas, landscaping and luxury services including spa, gym, five swimming pools, yoga, garden areas, 24 hour security and an exclusive concierge service.
Work is also underway on the second phase of The View Marbella, which will go on sale at the end of 2021. In total there will be 60 apartments distributed in five blocks, with stunning sea views. Once again, the project will be carried out by the studio of Teodoro Cabrilla and will be built with Sismo Spain as the construction system. “In the second phase of The View we are taking on a new challenge: that of surpassing ourselves, innovating both in the design of the project and its amenities”, says Pedro Antonio Rodríguez.
In addition, new communal areas will be built with access for the owners of both phases. Likewise, owners of phase 2 will have access to the Health Club, swimming pool, kids club and any common areas of phase 1. Prices start from €600,000.
