Unless you are one of Beelzebub’s visiting minions – and we’ve seen a fair few of them staggering around Banus recently – you cannot fail to have noticed that it’s warm, even for June.
Warnings for temperatures into the high thirties and low forties are expected, with the heat increasing away from coastal areas.
As with all hot weather, people are being asked to check on elderly, ill or infirm relatives and neighbours, make sure children drink enough water, and to avoid strenuous activities during the warmest parts of the day.
Reminders are also being given about the risk of cold water shock when swimming in the sea.
Stay by the pool or the fridge!
