The recent Puente de Hispanidad holiday saw encouraging numbers of tourists returning to the Costa del Sol.
The latest data from the Association of Hotel Entrepreneurs of the Costa del Sol (Aehcos), reported that between October 8-12, hotel occupancy was at 82% with an estimated value of €67 million to the coast. In addition to this, 60% of the guests were overseas visitors.
José Luque, Aechos president, commented “It is great news that that the direct economic impact of hotel activity totaled €67 million with the importance that this implies for the economy and employment in the province of Malaga ”.
