It’s Doggy Disco Heaven!

Calling all dog lovers! If your Beagle likes to Boogie, your Dashhound digs Disco or your Spaniel is a secret Soul Boy, then make a date in the Doggy Diary, as this Friday September 22, the hugely popular Doggy Disco makes a return!

The idea of Selina MacKenzie, whose “Animal Talk with Selina” section of her Lifestyles show on Talk Radio Europe is one of the station’s most popular, this will be the third Doggy Disco, which raises vital funds for local animal charities. Previous years have seen over 100 people and their pooches enjoying the disco, while earning money for great causes. This years charities are ADANA, Triple A and Rescued Paws Spain.

This year the event, held once again at the Victoria and Albert Bar in Benavista, will feature a raffle, a “Best Male and Best FemaleDog” competition and much more.

The bar will be open for humans, with an all day happy hour for dogs at the many dog bowls (filled with water). Drinks will include ‘pawsecco’ and ‘regal beagle’ beer, and the menu included hot dogs, of course.

The Doggy Disco will also have a special area set aside for selfies (what self respecting Marbella social media hound doesn’t have their own Instagram account?)

The fun starts at 6pm this Friday September 22 and tickets are available from https://www.facebook.com/groups/1226024944744212/about

Entrance is €5 for dogs and €10 for their humans, and the Doggie Disco hopes to beat the €2200 raised last year!
