Marbella City Council gives green light to Four Seasons hotel

Marbella City Council recently approved plans for El Pinar, just east of the Marbella arch, which will enable the construction of the Four Seasons resort hotel.

The Councilor for Town Planning, María Francisca Caracuel, commented that the urban plan would affect an area of ​​325,000 square meters, of which 103,000 will be allocated to public facilities through assignments, with cultural, educational, sports, roads and parks, and planned gardens . The remaining 220,000 square meters, will be used, as indicated, both for the construction of a Fours Seasons five-star luxury hotel, as well as 486 homes, of which more than half will be single-family exempt and category of Mediterranean town.

The mayor underlined the importance for the municipality of a project that will involve an investment of €650 million euros and that, in addition, will see the creation of between 3,500 and 4,000 jobs during the construction phase and a thousand employees when the project is operational.
