Marbella’s Municipal Market gets into the Christmas spirit this weekend.
After a €40,000 rennovation project, Marbella Town Hall are eager to see the market become a hub of life in the town, especially this Christmas.
This Saturday, December 23, Santa Claus will be at the market from 11.00 to greet and collect letters from children for their presents. From December 27 to 31, ‘The Kingdom of Ice’, will take place at the market with attractions and bouncy castles that will offer plenty of entertainment opportunities for the whole family, as well as a synthetic ice skating rink that is totally free.
The “Kingdom of Ice” will be open from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, on December 27; from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., from December 28 to 30, and from 11 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve.
There is also an ice skating rink at the Palacio de Congresos until January 7, along with other attractions, although there is an entry fee of €10 (€8 for under 8s)
Be warned though, it’s bound to be busy!
