Coronavirus and lockdowns may have disrupted the world of cinema, but the 15th edition of Marbella International Film Festival (MIFF) is set to go ahead.
From October 28 – November 11, MIFF will once again be celebrating the talents of global film makers by screening over 30 films from 20 countries online. The dates have been changed to allow for online screenings of the films shortlisted for the 2020 Marbella International Film Festival awards, and for the first time the general public will have the chance to view the films online and to vote for the films during the entire period of the festival.

MIFF has also launched the Grounded Film Festival on www.marbella-life.com attracting audiences who have shared their experiences while at quarantine and during lockdown.
Countries represented at this year’s MIFF include Spain, UK, USA, Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Egypt, France, Germany,Italy, Ireland, Iran, India, Myanmar, Solomon Islands,Turkey and Ukraine.

Last year the UK Film “Trick Or Treat” won Best Feature, with Andrew Loveday picking up the award for Best Director for “The Spanish Heist”
