Great news for enviromentalists. Marbella Town Hall has earmarked half a million euros for the first phase of the town’s Green Corridor.
The ‘Corredor Verde’, or green corridor, will be created in Las Chapas, on the eastern side of Marbella.
A major boost to the area the scheme, a 428-hectare eco-recreational belt, will be created by merging existing paths and building new ones to run west to east, to link Arroyo Real de Zaragoza with the dunes at Cabopino.
The plan aims to create new cycle paths, and to make the area car and lorry free.
