Non-essential businesses in Marbella, including bars and restaurants, will be allowed open this Saturday.
The Junta de Andalucía is due to formally announce the news in the official bulletin (BOJA) later today. The slight relaxatiion in the regulations allow businesses, bars and restaurants to open until 6pm.
The curfew is still in force between 10pm-6pm, and travel across municipal borders is still prohibited except for work and other valid reasons. Children’s play areas remain closed but parks are open.
The new regulations come into effect from midnight on Friday.
The rate per 100,000 stands at 844,7 with three more deaths reported on Friday, bringing the total number of fatalities in Marbella to 27 this month, the highest since the pandemic began.
