Pioneering water park opens in Marbella

Marbella mayor José Bernal, yesterday opened a public park that is the first in Andalucia to feature a water games zone.

The mayor,  accompanied by the Councilor for Works, Blanca Fernández, and the Councilor for  Parks and Gardens, Francisco Garcia, stressed that the regeneration of the park “was very necessary due to the state of deterioration and have modernised it to offer a unique space to local residents”.

“For us this is another example of work that we are carrying out to restore the  neighbourhoods that were abandoned during the government of the Popular Party and in this space reflects our investment” said the mayor.

Located next to Marbella’s Plaza de Toros, the public park has a 2,800 sqm children’s play area that includes fun water features – just in time for the hottest months!
