Iconic American actor Robert de Niro flew into Marbella last night to officially open the latest addition to his Nobu Hotel and Restaurant business.

Flanked by co owners Nobu Matsuhisa, Meir Teper, Drew Nieporent, and managing partner Richie Notar, as well as Puente Romano owner Daniel Shamoon, de Niro arrived by helicopter and was whisked to a press conference.

A traditional sake opening party was held in the evening, attended by Marbella mayor Angeles Munoz, as well as several VIP guests and international Press.

All business for the launch, the Taxi Driver and Goodfellas actor did laugh during the Press conference when he was asked what he would do if President Trump walked into one of his restaurants.

“I’d walk out” he smiled.
