One of Marbella’s best loved DJs and all round legend, Russell Soden, is hitting the hills again next week to raise money in memory of his daughter.
The former owner of infamous Banus rock bar Terra Blues, Russ already has already scaled a number of peaks for charity. He most famously climbed Marbella’s La Concha mountain 40 times in 40 days, which included having to scale it twice in one day when the previous day’s climb had been wiped out due to bad weather!
This Monday Russ sets out to climb Toubkai, a mountain peak in southwestern Morocco, located in the Toubkal National Park. At 4,167 metres, it is the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains, Morocco, North Africa and the Arab-Speaking World.
Once again Russ is raising money for the Lullaby Trust, formally the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths, in memory of his daughter Coral.

The Lullaby Trust raises awareness of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), provides expert advice on safer sleep for babies and offers emotional support for bereaved families.
