San Pedro Alcántara celebrated its patron saint’s day with a mass but without the traditional procession yesterday.
The event was attended by the mayor, Ángeles Muñoz, as well as by the deputy mayor Javier García and other members of the town hall
Muñoz congratulated the people of San Pedro on their “Big Day” and pointed out that “although this year we had to cancel the Feria due to the health situation, it does not mean that today should not be a holiday with the family”.
Normally San Pedro’s Feria is hit with the first rains of autumn. But, in yet another example of why 2020 is proving to be a ‘memorable’ year, the town was bathed in bright sunshine. Perfect Feria weather, in fact.
Thank you 2020…thank you once again!
