Petra Minx is back. This time the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Marine Unit sergeant is on the holiday of a lifetime in South Africa with her Italian friend, Interpol officer Carlo. However, her suspicions are raised when she meets the reluctant bride, her stepbrother Florian who uses his looks to entrap women, and the phony priest Father John.

In addition, Petra’s boss is concerned about Vicky, a young masseuse at a hotel who has gone into an African village as a volunteer helping women. Then two teenage girls are attacked on their first night in Cape Town. Her suspicions grow when Petra discovers they have joined a tour to Namibia which includes volunteering in an African village. Petra is about to uncover secrets that will threaten her holiday, her friendship with Carlo, and her life.
