There’s a feast for food lovers as well as a tough test for triatheletes this weekend in Marbella
The ninth Ruta de la Tapa starts today (Friday) and runs until Sunday. You can try out a huge range of tapas in both Marbella and San Pedro, and you can find the bars taking place in the tapaportes that you can pick up in Tourist Offices and participating establishments
The idea is to fill as many boxes as you can in your tapaportes – and if you fill six boxes (minimum) you can vote for your favourite tapa and might win a prize – including spa days and cinema tickets
Check out www.rutatapamarbella.com for more information.
If you want to work off those tapas, then the 20th Marbella Triathlon takes place on Sunday morning on the San Pedro Paseo from 10am. Competitors will complete a 750m swim, 20 km bike ride and finally a 5km.
Good luck to all taking part, although we’ll probably be cheering on with a caña y tapa!
