The May Bank Holiday kicks into gear as most of the beach clubs are now up and running, including Nikki Beach´s annual White Party extravaganza that featured Cirque de Soleil. They don’t do things by halves, that lot.
Unfortunately Mahiki Beach´s opening has been put on hold until the official launch party on Saturday June 17, so we have been spared seeing Mark Wright´s DJ talents at first hand…
Exepect a huge media scrum as Playa Padre opens its doors on Satuday night with Pamela Anderson scheduled on the Red Carpet. I´ll be going for the fight among the paparazzi alone.
Should be interesting – the old beach bar burnt down in mysterious circumstances last summer and now it´s been reinvented, just opposite the Marbella arch. Parking shold also be fun.
Things 2 do Marbella are also holding their launch event at the Marbella Event Academy on Saturday night. Apart from being the best looking (and heavily inked) team in Marbella, owner Glenn is giving away €2000 worth of advertising on the rapidly evolving site. They also live by the “Work Hard, Play Hard” matra, so expect a great evening and some rather fuzzy networking.
Needless to say all the Banus Clubs will be packed with Colin Francis, Craig David, Charlie Sloth and Scott Strutton all playing this weekend.
Finally Experience Box – Events & Team building is organising a treasure hunt especially and solely to raise money for David Toms who suffered a life changing motorbike accident last year. You are guaranteed a morning filled with a lot of fun, while you explore the beautiful old town of Marbella in an interactive way and perform tasks to gather points. It’s not a real race but more of a test of strategy, so the hunt is suitable for most ages and fitness levels. Answering questions, finding clues and making photos are just a small selection of tasks you can expect during the event.
The treasure hunt will start at 11 am in Marbella centre and the price is only €25 per person but if you are signing up as a team of five there is a discount 🙂 100% of the money raised goes to David Toms, another reason to all come and show your support.
