Mods, Markets and Mahiki Mojitos are en mode the weekend
Fans of all things Mod should head to the centre of Marbella as the second rally scooterista marbella starts today and continues over the weekend. There’ll be classic scooter display at 6pm in the Plaza de Iglesia, as well as prize giving and live music and DJ sets and after midnight the party continues at Arturo’s Bar in the Puerto Deportivo. Saturday sees the scooters at Avda. Miguel Cano, next to the Alameda Park before a ride out. From 5pm it’s Beach Party a go go!! at El Chiringuito and from 10.30pm the action moves back to Arturo’s and includes prizes for the best dancers!
Mahiki Beach formally opens this weekend on Saturday with a DJ set from former JLS star Marvin Humes. Marbella’s most stylish new beach club will also feature Mahiki’s famous cocktails, so it’s bound to be a great evening. Tickets are priced at €65pp and included complimentary wine, beer cava between 9-12pm and VIP Tables are available!
The Kempinski Bahia Hotel has a busy weekend of entertainment that includes Chill Out DJ sessions by the pool, flamenco, Italian tenors and even a live Cuban band. And if you fancy a little browsing, then Panorama 187 – the fascinating artist’s space opposite the old Funny Beach – is hosting a Saturday market that includes luxury goods, shoes, games and typical Georgian food from Cafe Tiblisi, as well as the chance to check out the latest work by artists including Andres Gomez and Joris Margot.
