We may be coming to the end of September, but it still feels like summer and there is plenty going on to keep the vibe going!

MTV Gibraltar Calling is well underway and after great sets by Texas and Two Door Cinema Club last night, the Main Stage will host sets by Rag’n’Bone Man (9pm), Rita Ora (10.30pm) and headliner Stormzy brings Grime to Gib at midnight.Meanwhile the Classic Stage sees performances tonight from Sweet, The Boomtown Rats and Suzi Quatro. If you don’t fancy the trip down to the Rock, then the Marbella International Irish Music Festival has plenty of bands, music, entertainment, stalls, workshops and enough of the Black Stuff to keep you all happy for both Saturday and Sunday. Music will include rock , traditional Irish, blues and folk and the festival promises fun for all the family from noon to midnight both days. Entrance is free and the event takes place at the Parque de Constitucion.

Rugby returns to Marbella on Saturday as Trocadero Marbella Rugby Club play their first home match of the new season. Fresh from an opening day 53-36 away victory against Madrid side Club de Rugby Cisneros, Marbella face C.D. Arquitectura. Kick off is at 4.30 pm. It promises to be a great family atmosphere as always, and there is even a display of model aircraft !
