Starlite – best know for its summer concerts in the Marbella Auditorio – has announced a multi million euro megaproject for Estepona. ‘Starlite Music World’ will see a €268 million investment to create a concert and cultural hub.
‘Starlite Music World’, located in the La Panera area (close to Selwo) aims to brings together several cultural, hotel, gastronomic and educational performances. Divided into ‘The City of Music’ and ‘The Audiovisual City’, the first will have auditorium for large musical shows with capacity for 15,000 people. The eleven hectares will also contain a boulevard with a lake, central square, restaurants and artists’ area. Starlite say that 450 full time jobs will be created with the project.

The project also includes a hotel with capacity for 200 rooms and a conference centre among others. ‘The Audiovisual City’ will occupy almost six hectares and will be made up of several recording studios and sets of between 1,500 and 3,000 square metres, equipment warehouses and internal service areas.
