Two people were taken to hospital after a shooting in a busy commercial centre that police believe may be a “settling of scores”

Emergency services were called to the scene of the shooting, a cafe in the popular Centro Commercial Gualdalmina, at 12.45pm, after reports of gunfire.

The victims, whose injuries are not life threatening, were taken by ambulance to the Hospital Costa del Sol.

Police quickly cordoned off the area, but at the moment have made no arrests.
